Big Walk tower unlocks

Fact-checked Aug 11, 2026Four captured tower routes + player progression notes

Quick answer: Install five control-panel pieces at a coloured tower, take its key through the cutter route, then use the finished key on the matching island system.

What each colour unlocks

The four coloured control panels produce keys for different island systems. Finish the tower route, shape the released key with the cutters, then use it at the matching destination.

The reusable progression loop

Captured routes show the same broad loop: solve five ordinary puzzles, put the five rewards into a coloured tower panel, collect the released gold key, then follow the cutter arrows until the key fits its destination lock. The exact nearby puzzles differ by route, but the rewards are not colour-locked.

  • Solve five accessible ordinary puzzles
  • Install five rewards at the chosen tower
  • Take the released key
  • Use each cutter in the arrow-marked route
  • Insert the finished key at the matching system

Choose by utility, not an invented mandatory order

Red gives navigation tools; Blue, Green and Yellow change travel. The player guide index says that after the fixed opening beach route, groups can choose their order. Red first is practical for readers following coordinates, but it is a recommendation rather than a hidden rule.

Why target counts can differ

The four colour routes shown here were captured in a two-player world. The official FAQ confirms separate 2-player, 3-player and 4+ variants and says some world details change, so a larger group may see a different number of switches or targets.
