Big Walk puzzles: how progression works

Match the structure, not a made-up name

Many island challenges do not display a stable name. Identify them by a visible object or interaction, such as the 4166, 1899 sign, the heavy ball, a turnstile building or a headphone chair.

• 4166, 1899 — coordinates, a remote button and a two-player reward
• Heavy ball relay — the carrier cannot walk
• Turnstile symbols — separated players describe a five-symbol sequence
• Headphone and sound rooms — players pass audio information under communication limits

How puzzle rewards connect to towers

A completed ordinary puzzle releases a red control-panel piece. A player who documented 24 puzzle solutions says those pieces can be used at any coloured tower; the nearby lists in tower walkthroughs are efficient sample routes, not exclusive ownership. The opening beach route is the exception because it is the route that first makes the rest of the island accessible.

Your selected world size can change details

The host chooses a 2-player, 3-player or 4+ version when starting a session. House House says some things in the world change for those versions. A captured two-player route can therefore prove the puzzle logic while still showing fewer switches, targets or points than your session.

Accessibility is part of the official rules

Challenges can depend on hearing or reading, speech or text, reaction speed, or fine motor control. The host can enable challenge skipping from the accessibility menu when starting a session. Text chat is a supported alternative to voice and follows the same deliberate distance and obstruction rules.
