Hold the first-carriage lever to stop
Board the first carriage and find its single control lever. Pull and keep holding it while friends get on or off; releasing it lets the train continue.
Assign a conductor for a large group
Put one player on the lever before the rest of the group moves between carriages or the platform. Use proximity voice to announce “holding” and “releasing,” and count the party before letting go. This is a coordination pattern derived from the verified hold-to-stop control, not an extra game rule.
Unlock Big Ride
Steam’s live achievement page says Big Ride requires “Ride on a train.” It does not require visiting every station or riding every colour. Once a player is aboard a moving train, the documented requirement is satisfied.
If the train is still stationary
Check the station lock first. A Blue Tower panel with five pieces is only the start: the released key must pass through all five cutters and be inserted at the main station. If the system remains inactive after the correct key is inserted, make sure the host is on the latest game version before treating it as a route error.
