Another player must equip and manage it
Have a teammate pick up the bag and move it to the white attachment circle on your avatar. The wearer cannot equip or unequip it alone. The same cooperative rule applies to stored items: another player places an object on the slot or removes it.
Capacity and practical limits
The captured guide records one held item, one backpack item and one hip-bag item for a three-object total. It also notes that round lanterns do not attach to a backpack. Community players add that stored items remain attached when the wearer slips, which makes bag slots useful for puzzle rewards, maps and radios.
Big Pack and Big Help
Steam’s live achievement list says Big Pack is “Wear a backpack” and Big Help is “Wear something on your hip.” A hip bag satisfies the equipment category named by Big Help.
